  • Exam Pattern

The pattern for the NEET (UG) - 2026 is as under :

Important Points to Note:

To answer a question, the candidate needs to choose one option corresponding to the correct answer or the most appropriate answer. Marking will be done as per following criteria:
  1. Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Four marks (+4)
  2. Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1).
  3. Unanswered: No mark (0).
  • Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

  • Minimum 17 years old on or before December 31, 2026 (Born on or before Dec 31, 2009).
  • Maximum There is no upper age limit for appearing in the examination.

Educational Qualification

  • Passed or appearing in Class 12/HSC with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English
  • Minimum 50% aggregate in PCB for General category (40% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL, 45% for General-PwBD)

Nationality

  • Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, and Foreign Nationals are eligible
