Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship

With a view to assist the meritorious students belonging to economically backward families in the State of West Bengal to pursue higher studies, the Government of West Bengal introduces this scheme of giving scholarships at different levels of higher studies, at educational institutions based in West Bengal .The Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship Scheme has been thoroughly revamped in the year 2016 to cover more number of students as well as to enhance the scholarship amounts significantly. The scheme benefits students studying in regular mode of Class XI and XII, and at under Graduate level in Science/Arts/Commerce, Engineering, Medical and Para-Medical Professional courses. Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship: Open to students in the eleventh grade and above

Oasis Scholarship

This scholarship was initiated by the Department of Tribal Development and the Backward Classes. Welfare Department of West Bengal enables students from the SC/ST and OBC categories to pursue their education. The scholarship is exclusively available to West Bengal domiciles. The candidates can apply for the WB Oasis scholarship online through the official portal. Besides Oasis scholarship, the West Bengal government provides other scholarships for minorities, merit students and others .The candidates belonging to the SC/ST and OBC categories can apply for the pre-matric and post-matric Oasis scholarships.

Aiykashree Scholarship

It is a government initiative in the state of West Bengal, India, aimed at providing financial assistance to economically disadvantaged students pursuing higher education. It supports students from various minority communities, including Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, and Parsis. The scholarship covers tuition fees and other educational expenses, ensuring equal educational opportunities for all. To be eligible for the Aikyashree Scholarship, you must meet certain criteria based on the scholarship scheme:

Pre-matric Scholarship:
Students must successfully complete their eighth grade.

Post-matric Scholarship:
Applicants must be in their 10th grade and enrolled in 11th or 12th-grade courses.
