Yoga Club

Welcome to the Yoga Club at JMN Medical College!

"From sun salutations to final rest, in yoga's practice, be truly blessed."

Led by Monitor Prakruti Sahu and Vice Monitor Pritom Das, our Yoga Club fosters the holistic well-being of our students, faculty, and staff. In academic rigors and clinical responsibilities, yoga plays a pivotal role in addressing the unique challenges encountered in medical education.

Physically, yoga promotes flexibility, strength, and posture, countering the sedentary lifestyle often associated with long study hours and lectures. By integrating movement and stretching into their routines, members of JMN Medical College can prevent musculoskeletal issues and enhance overall physical health.

Mentally, yoga serves as a powerful tool for stress management and mental clarity. Through breath-focused practices and mindfulness techniques, students can cultivate resilience, improve focus, and alleviate anxiety, empowering them to navigate the demands of medical school with greater ease and balance.

Emotionally, yoga provides a supportive environment for emotional processing and self-care. It offers a space for self-reflection, emotional regulation, and connection, fostering a sense of community and belonging among individuals at JMN Medical College.

Moreover, yoga cultivates essential skills for compassionate caregiving and self-awareness, preparing students to become empathetic and resilient healthcare professionals. By embracing yoga, members of JMN Medical College not only enhance their own well-being but also contribute to a culture of wellness and empathy within the medical community.

Join us at the Yoga Club as we embark on a journey of self-discovery, inner peace, and holistic wellness.
