World Health Day Celebration at JMN Medical College
On April 7th, World Health Day aims to draw global attention to vital public health issues and promote universal well-being. To mark the occasion, the Departments of Physiology and Community Medicine are jointly organizing an educational initiative focused on bridging the gap between individual biological functions and broader community health outcomes. The primary objective is to educate students and the public on the physiological foundations of a healthy lifestyle while addressing the social and environmental determinants that impact our local populations. By shifting the focus from disease treatment to proactive preventive care—through basic health screenings, lifestyle education, and targeted community outreach—the event seeks to empower individuals with the knowledge to maintain their physiological balance and advocate for equitable health access for everyone.
